Serving Fort Wayne for Over 60 YearsFully Licensed, Bonded & Certified

Diagnose Before You Dig

Before you agree to have an excavator tear up your beautiful front lawn, you need absolute proof of the problem. Plumbers who guess at the location of a blockage end up digging massive, expensive trenches in the wrong spot. Our high-definition, self-leveling fiber-optic cameras provide real-time visual evidence of the exact state of your underground pipes.

What Our Cameras Identify:

  • Root Intrusions: Tree roots penetrating pipe joints.
  • Collapsed Pipes: Sections crushed by soil weight.
  • Misaligned Joints: Pipes that have shifted underground.
  • Bellied Lines: Sunken pipe sections collecting waste.
  • Corrosion & Scale: Hardened buildup in cast iron.
  • Lost Items: Jewelry trapped in the plumbing.

Unbiased Digital Evidence

You shouldn't have to take a contractor's word for it when they tell you that you need a $10,000 pipe replacement. We believe in total transparency. Our cameras act as an impartial witness to the state of your plumbing.

The A1 Transparency Guarantee:

  • Watch the high-definition monitor live alongside our technician.
  • Get a complete recording of the journey to the city tap.
  • Receive unbiased proof of the pipe's condition before repairs.

Pinpoint Sonar Locating

Finding the break on a screen is only half the battle; we also need to know exactly where that break is located under the ground. Digging blindly destroys landscaping and wastes your money.

Precision Locating Technology:

  • 512Hz radio transmitters built into our camera heads.
  • Above-ground receivers to track the camera's exact location.
  • Exact depth and coordinate mapping for zero-guesswork digging.

Diagnostic Expertise

When To Request A Camera

Pre-Buy Home Inspections

Never buy a home without scoping the sewer line first. Standard home inspectors do not put cameras underground, leaving you vulnerable to hidden disasters.

Post-Jetting Verification

After we hydro-jet a heavy grease or root blockage, we run the camera down the line to verify that the pipe walls are 100% clean and scoured.

Lost Item Retrieval

Dropped a wedding ring down the sink? We can use our micro-cameras to locate the jewelry inside the P-trap before it washes into the main line.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the camera see through dirty water?
No. Fiber-optic cameras cannot see through murky or solid-filled water. If your line is completely backed up and holding water, we must first use a mechanical snake or hydro-jetter to clear the blockage and restore flow. Once the pipe is drained, we run the camera to inspect the empty pipe walls and determine what caused the backup.
Will the camera fix my broken pipe?
No, a sewer camera is purely a diagnostic tool. It allows us to visually inspect the condition of the pipe, locate cracks, bellies, and root intrusions. Once we have diagnosed the issue, we will recommend the appropriate repair, such as hydro-jetting, spot repair, or full excavation.
Can the camera get stuck in the pipe?
While rare, it is possible for a camera to get wedged in a severely collapsed pipe or a massive, dense root ball. Our technicians are highly trained to navigate these hazards cautiously. If a pipe is clearly collapsing, we will stop the inspection rather than risk losing a $10,000 piece of equipment underground.
How big of a pipe can you inspect?
Our standard push-cameras are designed for residential and light commercial lines ranging from 3 inches up to 6 inches in diameter. For massive municipal lines or large storm drains, specialized robotic crawler cameras are required.
